Lokuge ready to employ Roshen’s siblings
Minister of Labour and Labour Relations Gamini Lokuge says that his ministry is prepared to find employment for the two brothers and sister of Roshen Chanaka, who died in the police shooting during a workers’ protest against the proposed private sector pension scheme.
On May 30, workers of the Katunayake Export Processing Zone (EPZ) staged their protest, where Roshen Chanaka was shot. He died at the Ragama Hospital on June 1. His funeral took place on June 4.
