if you want to Rip your favorite DVD to 700mb, then follow this steps , this is the most popular method to Rip DVD.

Software

Auto GK
DVD Decrypter
DivX(Free Version is Enough, Only For play back)

Steps To Follow..

•Open AutoGK.
•Locate and give previously copied DVD’s .ifo file as input.
•Select a Folder and File name for Out Put.
•Select Audio Track and Sub Title track as Appropriate(by Language)
•If your Film length is(These are Rough Values)
oLess than 2:00 -- Select Out Put size 700MB
oBetween 2:00 and 2:30 – Select 900MB
oMore than 2:30 – Select 1400MB

•Hit Advanced Settings.
•For out Put Resolution setting select Fixed Width—640 for a Standard DVD(Open To Experiment)
•If your out put size is 1400MB for Out Put Audio Type select Original. If not select 128Kbps CBR Mp3
•Select Xvid for the Codec.
•Tick use External Subtitles
•Click OK
•Hit Add job then Start.

TIP:If you’ll reduce the Out Put Resolution Final Product will have Low Sharpness.
If you’ll increase it(By Very High Value) will be pixilated.

AGK is Fully Automated. It has couple of Phases.
•Indexing
•Analyzing Source
•Encoding Audio
•Preparing Sub Titles
•Compressibility Check
•Video Encoding Pass1 and 2

If you’ll get a value less that 40% (According To My Experience) as a result of the compressibility check, the quality of the movie will be Low. In that case you’ll have to reduce the Audio Bit rate (Not less than 128Kbps) or Increase the Out Put Size.

Reduce the Out Put Resolution is also an Option. But I don’t prefer that.

Download The Attached Excel File..

Fill the details as appropriate..
•Film Length
•Aspect Ratio(I’ve set it to Default)
•Target size
•Target Audio Bit Rate
•FPS(Frames per Second)
•Target Width(I’ve set It to Default)

After that you can get a Rough Idea about the quality by looking at Bits per Pixel.
Try to keep it more than 0.15 and for the best quality 0.2

Advanced Tip (Assuming you are not using Original Sound):

Fill the Bit Rate Excel File with correct (Expected) details.
And Find the video Size.
Give that value to AGK Out put size – Custom.
Disable Audio and Subtitle.
Run the process till it finishes compressibility check.
Get the Compressibility value.
Here we can find the final quality with out Encoding Audio, in a short time.
If the quality is good (Compressibility Value is more than 40%), give the Audio Bit rate to AGK, which you insert to Excel file, Enable audio And Start Encoding.

If you want to Encode HD videos change out put resolution in Advanced Settings as Appropriate.

You can play back the compressed movie in Any MPEG 4 supported Player or DivX Installed PC.

Bundled DirectVOBSub Will display external Subtitle..

You can compress and save HD movie, Which on a 22GB Blue Ray Disk, having, Length 02:30(HH:MM), Resolution: 1280x720(720p), In a One Single 4.5GB DVD.
